Alex’s History, Career, and Purpose

After receiving his undergrad in Leadership Development from Texas A&M and a Master’s in Real Estate from North Texas, Alex made a career as a successful developer for Bold Fox Development. Because of the unique mobility and hometown atmosphere, Alex and his family chose to settle in Pearland in 2017.

In 2020, Alex decided to run for Pearland City Council after witnessing public servants leverage Hurricane Harvey as an issue to advance their own agenda, while doing nothing to protect Pearland residents from the next big storm. Instead of sitting by and waiting for results, Alex threw his name in the hat and won a four-person contest, rolled up his sleeves and got to work.

Alex lives in Pearland with his wife, Nikki, their three sons and three dogs.

The “Fiscal Hawk”

In his time on the City Council, Alex boasted a consistent record as the council’s fiscal hawk, the only member to vote against the bloated FY 2023 budget that led to a “fiscal meltdown” that hurt the taxpayers.

Alex also successfully spurred the passage of the largest drainage bond in Brazoria County history, proposed the strictest ethics ordinance in the state of Texas, led the fight against the Harris County crime wave, and voted to expedite the funding and building of the West Pearland Library.
